discovered the meaning of loneliness, friendship, the difference between love and infatuation, the dangers of sleeping too much, the dangers of getting too involved, how bunnies somehow create happiness through a directly proportional relationship with the fluffiness to cute eating sounds ratio, or FC..FLCL. I haven't thought about that anime in a while, in fact not since he left because I remember watching it with him, his roommate, brother, and brother's girlfriend (whom I thought was initially his sister because of mishearing her name..which led to awkward misunderstandings..). In any event, I never did understand 'fooly cooly' but I guess it means something that's stupid but cool at the same time. I suppose that's a bit like my life. I remember telling a friend in OCHEM lab one time that the leaky faucet we were working by was like my life. I smiled a lot more back then, but I wasn't happy. Or maybe I was. I don't remember. Becoming involved tends to do that to you, it's almost like the 'rebirthing' experience-a bit suffocating, but in the end you're reluctantly reborn. Everything that has happened before that is like a distant dream. Or more analogous to the amnesia we all have before a certain age.
So begins my prattling [prattle: (verb) to babble meaninglessly; to talk in an empty and idle manner] thoughts about life, pursuing happiness, the string theory, and how despite the fact that humans are considered the most intelligent creatures out there, we're basically just another form of hairless mammal out to get some.
I've decided that this will be the type of writing my posts will entail. So, if you are here looking for some deep and meaningful euphemisms on existentialism and how one may relate Elvis to wax fruit to a college in Connecticut, look elsewhere. This blog will be mindless fluff, regardless of whether or not it is about me or others.
Disclaimer: Unless otherwise noted, my comments on daily observed behavior will be objective; I will not judge anyone based on age, race, gender, or religious preference, unless a dumb ass Persian Jew decides to take up two parking spaces for his Beemer. Also, if you are easily offended by off handed humor, this may not be the rambling site for you.
