The Life of a Lab Rat

I look up at the night sky and wonder if you are seeing the same stars I'm seeing. And then I realize that you are probably eating lunch with a bunch of tramps, ohexcuseme, "really nice people" ("hospitable"=I will chloroform and fuck you in your sleep under the impression that I am the nice slut who brings you home when you've been drinking like freshmen). They are a bunch of ignorant, sleazy, odious, Herpes simplex infested sluts and it really doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure it out. They can keep clinging to other people's boyfriends all the want, but really? It's alright to be lonely sometimes when you're single/not getting some/enough, but to break other people's happiness because you're not relationship material is kind of immoral by my standards. I find such people repulsive and pathetic. What's worse, such people often begin with the guise of being friends and then add a little alcohol into the mix and it's a recipe for disaster. Not that I care. The universe seems to thrive in chaos. I like a little challenge, I suppose. But it's tiring when I'm juggling a million things everyday at this point in life and there's always the niggling curiosity at the back of my mind as to whether Whoremouth/Jp girl #2 (who has a weird name)/H12 has gotten into a certain someone's proverbial pants.

Some might deem it excessive that I'd code every tramp I run into but that's the thing-it's like working with viruses/bacteria..they evolve so much and you run into so many different ones that you have to come up with some sort of nomenclature otherwise people would never know what you're referring to. That, and I don't want to get sued for slander/libel should any of the said hookers come upon my chronicles of their depravity (on second thought, do they even know how to read?). I think it would be funny if they ever did, though. I would think myself a terrible person if I became infamous for being a slut even though I'm half way around the world. It's laughable, really. Say what you may, pictures say it all.

I despise lies above all else (except finding an empty toilet roll, rain on wedding days-which is not irony btw, sad puppies, the last cookie, and gorgeous people who have tofu for brains~what a waste).

Went into Lab and did micro dialysis for 4 hours. But on a high note, might be upgraded to surgery within a few weeks. It's funny, Dr. X said that I'd be able to practice on rats that they're about to put down soon in the beginning, just to get the hang of things, and it immediately gave me a PTS flashback on how the Hospital would let interns do CPR/chest compressions on patients they knew were about to go. How traumatic.

The Lab is very interesting, though, lots of cool and funny albeit eccentric peoples eager to teach/talk about random crap, even if grad students are some of the most cynical people I've ever come across~they have cookies so that's redeemable. Professor X's kid is going to grow up to be immune to virtually every disease/allergy and know how to swear like a sailor by the time she's 6 (from her chain smoking doctor mom, ironically..her dad's the soft-spoken doctor who bounces her on his lap and is constantly feeding/changing her..doctor mom). Or at least, that's what I've gleaned from people-watching. Only problem is, haven't gotten used to the smell of rat stuff/drugs/sterilization equipment bleh.

Closing thought: I wonder if some people just wake up one day and go, "I think I'll try to see who I can fuck (over) today."
